When you read this, know that you are within a short drive to a destination that could change your life for the better.
Today most people are at a crossroads, going one way or the other. How does one choose the best way for them to go? A journey that may have begun a long time ago, or maybe you’re in mid-life, or are a young couple just starting out. Whatever direction you fit into is at your doorstep.
How is it possible to digest and understand which direction to take on the crossroads of life? Are the possibilities endless? Where does one start? Who might have the answer? Is it too late for me? Am I at the crossroads alone? What if one stumbles? How does one take that first step? Would a support group be there to help me on my journey? How does one learn to have trust? These and many other questions are all part of life’s journey!
One step to begin the journey at your crossroads is to be totally honest with yourself. Make the time to reflect on where you are now. Ask yourself, what have I accomplished so far? Are there some things you would have done different? This time with yourself and your thoughts will be very revealing. A wave of emotions will fill your mind and heart. Joy, Happiness, Sorrow, Tears, Regrets, Hope, Love, Prayer, Disgust, Rage, Vision, Acceptance, Gratitude, Gratefulness, Belonging, Giving, to mention a few.
This is not a one-time sit down with oneself! It will be an ongoing thought process and periods of adjustments to the rest of one’s life. Embrace this process often and one’s path on the crossroads of life will be one incredible and rewarding journey. You will share journeys with others along the way. Who knows...soulmates, friendships, mentors, will be formed. Conversations you have could mean positive course changes in the direction one is going. One key to this journey, is to have an open mind and heart with each conversion and encounter that comes along.

Colossians 3:1–11
Luke 12:13–21
Faith in Christ Is Rich Toward God
To live for earthly things “is vanity and a striving after wind,” and work that is driven by such vanity “is an unhappy business” (Eccl. 1:13–14). The man who lives like that has nothing to show for “all the toil and striving of heart with which he toils beneath the sun … all his days are full of sorrow” (Eccl. 2:22–23). So, too, your “covetousness, which is idolatry” (Col. 3:5), makes a god out of that which cannot give you life or happiness. For “one’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions” (Luke 12:15). But “Christ who is your life” (Col. 3:4), in giving you Himself, gives you all the wealth of heaven. Instead of striving to lay up treasures for yourself, be “rich toward God” in Him (Luke 12:21).

YOU ARE WELCOME TO THE TABLE OF THE LORD! Jesus is both the host and the food for the meal that we share. It is Jesus’ saving death that we proclaim whenever we dine together at the Lord’s Table, and this is what we believe:
With this congregation, I believe and confess:
If for any reason you cannot consume wine, white grape juice is available in the center ring of the individual cups. If coming to the altar rail is difficult for you, pastor and one of the communion assistants would be happy to bring you communion in the pews.

Our church offers a meaningful Christian atmosphere for people with special challenges. The program has been running continuously for over 50 years. We offer weekly Bible school on Saturdays from 10 am to noon during the school year. Each week the program includes time for devotion, sharing through prayer , Bible stories, singing, activities, and a light snack. We also have a week long VBS for the class during the Summer.
Our church has a very active LWML group that meets monthly. Beforw COVID, each Spring, the group has their major fundraiser making thousands of chocolate covered eggs for Easter. While this is an LWML project most of the congregation comes out to help make the eggs. Proceeds from the fundraiser go to support good works locally as well as mission work in other countries. In addition to the local activities some members participate in regional and national LWML activities.
We have a growing and active Stephen Ministry program. Stephen Ministries is a one-to-one lay caring ministry. Our congregation has several trained Stephen Leaders and a dedicated group of Stephen Ministers who are trained and actively serving the needs of our community.
Our contemporary service is supported by a group of musicians and vocalists performing today's Christian favorites.
Our traditional service is supported by our organist for liturgy and hymns.
Our choir meets every Thursday at 7:00 pm. All are welcome!
Our men's quartet is a blessing to all.

Our goal, with God’s help and guidance is to strive and grow the membership of Christ Lutheran Church! We are the face of the church! By going out into the community and the places we live, we inform folks about our church family. We welcome visitors with open hearts and arms to nurture them on a journey with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! We work closely with the Pastor to introduce new member instruction classes, and visit the shut ins and homebound. We maintain a fresh updated Website, Facebook page, and a digital sign at the front of our church. If you are looking for a new home church or a new spiritual walk, this just may be the place for you. We will welcome you! God Bless!
Our church fellowship hall can seat 120 for dinners and the adjoining commercial grade kitchen has helped turn out many delicious meals. Our dedicated fellowship team keep things running smoothly for the various dinners, potlucks, workshops and other activities happening in our congregation throughout the year.
